'A Patient's Story' was commissioned by the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and follows the story of Chris Goward who was diagnosed with Covid-19 and spent 17 days under sedation on a ventilator in Critical Care.

Chris had underlying health conditions which meant his condition declined rapidly.  His wife Mary spent an agonising time waiting, not being able to visit him and support him.  Chris and Mary recount their stories as Chris's life threatening condition unfolded during the early days of the pandemic.
